Our wired headbands have a light coated wire (so YES! it can get wet). The wire helps keep your headband in place while giving a little twist.

We typically use cotton or rayon/silk materials for our headbands. All headbands can be hand washed and hung to dry. Giving the headband a quick iron the next day will have it brand new looking again! PRO TIP - putting the headband around a doorknob will have the wire nice and straight
